We are a leading Steel Rule Cutting Die and Printing Plate manufacturer located in Pennsauken, NJ with over 25 years in operation. We are currently seeking a hard working individual to work in our printing plate department. The ideal candidate should be very good working with their hands, able to measure materials accurately, follow detailed procedures, and work in a fast-paced, light industrial environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Plots and prepares jobs for assembly and performs assembly of Print Plate components using hand tools and industrial equipment. Manage materials and supplies for a small production team. Organize deliveries and pack product according to schedules.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and abilities:

• Hands on mechanical skills for assembly and craftwork.
• Ability to work with hand tools
• Strong communication skills and able to follow written work instructions
• Strong organization skills and detail focus
• Good measuring and math skills

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Programming in Access using VBA. Re-write current inventory, production orders, and purchasing programs, and eliminate Lotus Approach for our systems. Minor updates to tooling programs.
• IT Support for Network users & hardware troubleshooting with repair/upgrade recommendations.
• Introductory Bar Coding project for production flow & inventory control.
• Drafting work instructions in Word or OneNote

Requirements:

• Programming experience in VBA/VB
• Familiar with designing forms, reports, table structure, and queries in Access
• Understanding/Experience of Network environment
• Experience with Windows 7-Windows Server

Training

• Full training on layout & design of server and local programs

The individual who will succeed in this position must be highly motivated, organized, and be very well versed in the use of CAD technology. Although this position does not require an engineering degree, you will be designing tooling, so analytical thinking is a must.
